Hi All

I would like to try and arrange a TOURNAMENT SUNDAY before the start of the season. Possible date could be the 8th or 15th April. This would be open to both Male and Female players, either mixed tournaments or possibly seperate tourneys if any lady members would like to reply on this please do.

This would incorporate a Pool competition and Darts competition starting in the morning with round-robin groups and then culminating in two finals later in the evening.

All I am looking for currently is interest in entering 1 or both tournaments. Due to the format I could probably work around peoples schedules (once they know them) for the day. I.E. you wanna play but can't make it till 2pm I could put you in the final group or vice versa.

If people think this is not a good idea also feel free to reply. I know we had a pool tourny recently but I thought it went well and that there would be support for another and I don't think we have had a Darts tourney before. They would both be open to outside contenders and hopefully well supported by club memebrs.

Getting back to the topic in hand, good thinking Lee.

Just to re-itterate Smiffy, we need to get the club used as much as possible, particularly out of season.

Such events are well attended.

i would be interested in the pool tournament cant throw a dart to save my life tho!!! will try my hardest to get the other ladies involved aswell

Eight people turned up to the last signing on evening.

Maybe more will come if theres an event that isn't for the sole benefit of the cricket club, as is normal with any functions etc.
