it has been suggested that we open the club up on available Saturday evenings in November and possibly December - how would you all feel about that and would you use it, either as a place to spend the evening or as a place to start an evening out before moving on somewhere else. Please let me know your feelings on this as we want to make the club available to you all as much as possible both inside and out of the cricket season.

if i was about in colchester i would like to see it open it is a great place to meet up with people and then carry on into harwich, i think it would allow the club so socilise more, however i feel that there has to be options for people to go there, like the pool table being available and serviced and music from a cd player! Could there be in house nights that include Pool Tournaments, maybe a poker night (not for money because that needs a licence (lol )) the tv being on, even bbc one will do just as a background noise or something to watch. ideas need to be brought forward for this to be effective, what times will it be open from and what time is it looking to close. wil all members know that its open, there is no point in 50% of the club knowing that it is open!!
what does everyone else think! let us know on here!!

smiffy mentioned to me other nite that we get a group 2geva and get down the club a bit...............even if its just pre season chilling out.....if the clubs open make it a weekly thing so people know its open! dont wanna go down and freeze my sack off..........
